The globe rotates in a fully engraved brass meridian and is surmounted by a brass polar hour ring. On the birch horizon band a Zodiacal and Gregorian calendar is visible. The globe is mounted to an oak base. The amazing condition of the globe makes it an extremely rare piece. Often these types of globes are heavily damaged.
