Rathenow German Flak Binoculars

Antique Rathenow German Flak binoculars on tripod. These type of binoculars were used by the Luftwaffe during the Second World War on a FLAK (Flugabwehrkanone; Anti-aircraft warfare). This particular piece still works and gives, due to the high quality prisms and glass, a sharp image. The dial is labeled klar (clear), hell (light), mittel (medium), and dunkel (dark). These binoculars can be of decorative value in any room due to their sturdy, rough appearance combined with a firm, not military, but stylish tripod.
